Valeon Studios

I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of this liability waiver for the event taking place on October 16, 2023, at Valeon Studios, located at 38-40 Gale Street, Brunswick East.

Liability for Equipment Damage:

I understand and accept that during the event, I may have access to and use various equipment, gear, or facilities provided by the event organizers and Valeon Studios. I agree to exercise the utmost care and responsibility when handling this equipment. I acknowledge that I will be held liable for any damage or loss to the equipment caused by my negligence, reckless behaviour, or intentional actions.

In the event that I damage or break any equipment, I agree to pay for the cost of replacing or repairing the damaged item. The determination of repair or replacement costs will be made by the event organizers or Valeon Studios, and I agree to comply with their decision. I understand that my financial responsibility for such damage may extend to the full cost of repair or replacement, including any associated labor and shipping fees.

General Liability:

I further acknowledge and understand that participating in the event may involve risks, including but not limited to physical injury, personal injury, or property damage. I assume all potential risks associated with the event and release the event organizers and Valeon Studios from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other claims that may arise during my participation in the event.

Data Collection for Marketing:

I consent to the event organizers and Valeon Studios collecting and utilizing my personal information provided in this form for marketing and promotional purposes. This may include sending me information about future events, promotions, and updates. I understand that my data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, and I have the option to opt-out from marketing communications at any time.

Emergency Medical Authorization:

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the event organizers to seek appropriate medical attention on my behalf. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Image and Likeness Release:

I hereby grant permission to the event organizers and Valeon Studios to use my likeness in any photographs, videos, or other media for promotional or documentation purposes.

Agreement and Signature:

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this liability waiver and data collection consent and agree to its terms. I am signing this waiver and providing consent voluntarily and without any coercion.
