From choosing a studio to wrapping your shoot, here’s what you need to know.
Booking & payment
How do I make a booking?
Use our booking enquiry form to share your preferred studio, date and hire duration. We’ll confirm availability and discuss your requirements. Sending an enquiry alone does not confirm your booking.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and full payment of the studio hire fee.
How can I pay?
Payment is required in full at the time of booking. We accept credit card and bank transfer.
What are the studio hire rates?
Studio 01: half day $700, full day $900. Studio 02: half day $500, full day $700. All prices are plus GST. See hire rates for the options, and enquire for a quote that suits your production.
Can I book a short session or the full venue?
Two-hour hire is available for either individual studio at $350 + GST. Full Venue full-day hire is $1,800 + GST and includes both studios and the front lifestyle area. For a Full Venue half day or other arrangements, please enquire.
Are prices inclusive of GST?
No. Studio hire, optional fresh paint and equipment hire rates are quoted plus GST.
Can I add equipment or extra services?
Yes—tell us what you need in your booking enquiry. Additional hours, services or equipment requested on the day are charged accordingly. Equipment hire prices are per day, plus GST. The Godox AD600Pro price is per unit. Explore equipment hire ↗
Studios & inclusions
Which studio should I choose?
Studio 01 offers the full cyclorama; Studio 02 has a 5 × 5 metre half cyclorama. Both have approximately 6 metre ceilings. You can hire an individual studio, both studios, or the Full Venue. If you’re unsure, tell us what you’re making and we’ll help you choose.
Are the studios separated from each other?
Studio 01 and Studio 02 are adjoining, with no partition between the two shooting bays. Discuss privacy, sound or simultaneous production requirements with us before booking.
What is included in studio hire?
Both studios include access to polyboards, C-stands, fast Wi-Fi, a speaker, steamer, clothing racks, tables, bespoke furniture and props. Shared facilities include a large couch and sitting area, change rooms, separate women’s and men’s bathrooms, and a modern kitchenette. On-site parking is available.

Is lighting included?
Polyboards and C-stands are included. Lighting and other listed hire equipment are available at additional per-day rates, plus GST. Let us know your requirements when you enquire. View equipment ↗
Can I request a freshly painted cyclorama?
Yes. A fresh coat can be requested for an additional $100 + GST. Please arrange this when booking.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Tell us about the equipment you plan to bring, especially larger setups, so we can discuss load-in and space requirements before your shoot. You’re responsible for insurance and the security of your personal property.

Is parking available, and how do I load in?
On-site parking is available. Contact us before your visit to discuss parking, equipment load-in and any access requirements.
Can I arrive early or stay longer?
Access is limited to your agreed hire times. Early access and overruns incur additional charges. Please discuss any extra time with us before your shoot or as soon as your plans change.
Do I need to clean up after the shoot?
Yes. Leave the studio clean and tidy. A cleaning fee may apply if it is not left in an acceptable condition.
What if equipment is damaged or stops working?
Report any damage or malfunction immediately. Handle studio equipment carefully and under supervision. The hirer is responsible for damage caused during the hire period and may be charged the cost of repair or replacement.
Can children or animals be part of a shoot?
Children and animals must be supervised at all times. Tell us about your plans before booking so we can discuss your production requirements.
What safety rules apply?
Follow health and safety requirements, keep emergency exits clear and familiarise yourself with fire procedures on arrival. Illegal or dangerous activities are prohibited. The hirer is responsible for the safety and well-being of all participants.
Cancellations & rescheduling
What is the cancellation policy?
- More than 7 days before the booking: full refund.
- Between 7 days and 48 hours before the booking: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours before the booking: non-refundable.
Contact us as soon as you need to cancel.
Can I move my booking to another date?
Request rescheduling at least 48 hours before your original booking date. We’ll try to accommodate your preferred new date, subject to availability.
Content, insurance & hire policies
What content is prohibited?
Pornographic or sexually explicit content is prohibited. The policy includes nudity, sexually suggestive poses and activities deemed inappropriate by studio management. A breach can result in being asked to leave and forfeiting the booking fee. Read the full hire terms before booking.
What insurance do I need?
Valeon insures its own property and equipment. The hirer is responsible for arranging their own insurance for personal property and hired equipment. Keep valuables secure; the studio’s hire terms address liability, injury, loss and theft.
Who owns the images and footage, and should I credit Valeon?
Under our hire terms, images and footage taken during the hire belong to the hirer unless agreed otherwise in writing. Promotional use of images or footage featuring the space should credit Valeon Studios appropriately.
